Subject:  Expression of Interest for Filling of Vacant Seats, if Permitted by GGSIP University- Academic Session 2026–27

 

This is to inform all aspiring candidates that, after completion of all rounds of online and offline counselling conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admission to various programmes for the Academic Session 2026–27, some seats may remain vacant in certain programmes.

It is further possible that GGSIP University may permit the respective affiliated Institutes to fill such vacant seats through Institute-level counselling, subject to the approval, directions, eligibility conditions and admission criteria prescribed by the University and/or other designated authorities.

In view of the above possibility, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) and Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) invite applications from interested and eligible aspiring candidates for consideration against such vacant seats, if and when permission is granted by the competent authority.

Candidates interested in being considered may submit a written application along with a refundable registration amount of ₹1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only), subject to the following conditions:

  1. Submission of the application shall not confer any right or claim for admission.
  2. The registration is being invited only to facilitate preparation of a pool of interested candidates in anticipation of permission for Institute-level counselling.
  3. Admission, if permitted, shall be made strictly on merit and in accordance with the eligibility conditions, admission policy, seat availability and criteria prescribed by GGSIP University and/or the designated competent authority.
  4. Only those candidates who have registered with GGSIP University and have appeared in the NLT/CLAT/CET/CUET, as applicable to the respective programme, shall be considered for admission against such vacant seats.
  5. Candidates who have already secured admission in GGSIP University or in any Institute affiliated to GGSIP University shall not be considered under this process.
  6. The final decision regarding the conduct of Institute-level counselling and filling of vacant seats shall be subject to the approval/permission of GGSIP University and the competent authorities.
  7. The refundable registration amount of ₹1,000/- shall be refunded in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to the process, subject to the directions of the competent authority.
  8. Candidates are advised to submit their applications only if they fulfil the prescribed eligibility requirements for the programme for which they seek consideration.

Applications may be submitted from 11.08.2026 to 14.08.2026 between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon at Gate No. 1, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology / Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies. Interested candidates are advised to submit their applications within the stipulated period in their own interest.

Candidates are advised to note that submission of an application does not guarantee allotment of a seat or admission to any programme. Seat allotment, if undertaken, shall be made strictly in accordance with the directions/approval of GGSIP University and the criteria notified by the competent authority.

All aspiring candidates are advised to keep themselves updated regarding further notifications issued by the Institute and/or GGSIP University.
