A WORKSHOP ON MEDITATION TECHNIQUES: AN INITIATIVE BY
ADR CELL AND PRO-BONO CELL, MAIMS
MAIMS Pro Bono Club in collaboration with Delhi Dispute
Resolution Society (Govt. of NCT Delhi) organized a workshop
on mediation on September 27, 2023 in the Seminar Hall of 9th
Block, MAIMS for Law students and its objective was to
emphasize the importance of ADR- Alternative Dispute
Resolution. The session began with welcoming all the guests-
Hon'ble Justice Mr. M.L. Mehta, Chairman, DDRS, Dr. Anant
Vijay Maria, AOR, Supreme Court of India and a consultant having
more than 10 years of experience at the Bar and Mrs. Anuja Saxena
who is a mediator, a master- trainer at DDRS and MCPC.
The workshop emphesized on enforcement of the mediation process and explained how mediation can be an opportunity
for their legal careers. The Workshop was a great exposure to learning the ADR, especially Mediation for the students and
faculties of law, and other departments.
A WORKSHOP ON LINKEDIN OPTIMIZATION
The LinkedIn Optimization Workshop, organized by the Training and
Placement Cell, Department of Business Administration, was conducted by Mr.
Puneet Dang, the founder of EDZER. This event aimed to provide students with
valuable insights into the world of LinkedIn and how to harness its potential for
career growth and professional networking.
The workshop had several specific objectives in mind:
Increasing Your LinkedIn Rank: Understanding the algorithms and strategies
to improve your visibility and ranking on LinkedIn.
Expanding Your Network: Learning techniques to increase the number of
meaningful connections on the platform.
Crafting an Effective LinkedIn Profile: Gaining knowledge about how to create a compelling LinkedIn profile that
attracts recruiters and potential collaborators.
MERAKI - AN INTER-COLLEGE ART COMPETITION
“Meraki”, an annual event organized by Srijana- the Fine Arts society of MAIMS, was held
on 17th of October, 2023 in MAIMS Campus. The competitions included Pixel Art and Ceramic
Painting and Beyond Boundaries (an art exhibition). The competition saw a turnout of 45 students
from various different colleges.
The artworks were judged by Professor (Dr.) Rajni Malhotra Dhingra, the Director, and Dr.
Manoj Verma, the Head of BBA, along with Srijana coordinator Rashi. The winners were presented
with Certificates and Hampers by our gifting partners (Bunkpage, Cynekraft, Arorabrushes).
