COMPUTER CENTRE

Computer Centre administers and manages the entire Campus Computer Network which includes Departments (Engg. & Management), Main Administrative Building, Library and Hostel. The centre possesses 21 number of servers and 40 HP intel core i3 (6th Gen.) based computer systems. The centre is fully networked through high-end intelligent MikroTik, HP and CISCO routers and switches, and possesses round the clock 250 Mbps Internet Leased Line (OFC) and 24 Mbps RF Link for the OFC and Wi-Fi connectivity for the academic, administrative and hostel blocks of the campus, with internet facilities on all the nodes.

Computer Centre provides Web-based Email that enables all the users to access their mailbox from anywhere (inside or outside MAIT) via the Internet, an institute wide directory service (DS) and centralized cloud storage to every faculty and staff for personal use. It is encourage to use free and open source software like GNU/Linux distributions. Computer Centre manages DNS, Website, A-View, Mail and FTP Server and special purpose softwares license servers i.e. Matlab, ProE etc.
